ça commence par un folk-rock teinté de glam. Nulle facilité ici. La pureté et toute l'exigence qu'elle réclame. Et tout cela se termine par un "widow" d'une ténèbre pénétrante (si, si... ça doit pouvoir se dire) En tout cas dès ce 1er album, j'ai retrouvé l'univers de Chelsea Wolfe que je ne connaissais que de deux titres "we hit a wall" et "house of metal". Je savais donc qu'un jour, j'en viendrai à toute sa discographie. Me voilà sur la route.

Darkhorse is an absolutely amazing song. The instrumentals are so beautiful. And your voice just pierces my soul so deep. I've been listening to the lost highways version for maybe a year, and I didn't realize it for a while, but Emma is easily in my top most very favorite newer music. I live in a little mountain town in Idaho, perhaps no one else here has heard you. But you have a huge fan in me. That includes everything I've heard, from acoustic to doom metal.
